Robert Durst's Houston Home Searched By Police

HOUSTON (AP) — Police are searching the fashionable Houston home of Robert Durst after the 71-year-old real estate heir was arrested at a New Orleans hotel over the weekend.

Durst has agreed to face trial for the slaying of Susan Berman in Los Angeles, where she had vouched for him in public after his wife vanished.

Houston police and the Harris County district attorney’s office declined to comment, deferring questions to the Los Angeles Police Department. Harris County district attorney spokesman Jeff McShan said LAPD contacted his office last week. McShan would not elaborate on what was discussed.
