The Big Apple’s criminal past is under the interrogation lights.
Some 30,000 New York City crime photos taken by the NYPD will be digitized, thanks to a $125,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities announced this week, according to the New York Times.
The photos were taken between 1914 and 1975 by NYPD photo unit officers.
The pictures were stored in boxes after cases were closed, Petapixel reports.
